Morgan has always been fascinated with the body and how it can move, twist and turn whilst conveying emotion and human connection through each step. Her career in classical and contemporary dance naturally led her to yoga where she found a similar connection with the flow of the practice – and never looked back. Along with yoga, Morgan teaches barre and is one of the top freestyle spin instructors in Asia Pacific.
Hailing from Australia, Morgan trained in classical ballet from age 4 and spent years training professionally at the Vienna State Opera Ballet before moving to Hong Kong, where her passion for yoga was ignited and she began her teacher training journey. With a background in public relations, Morgan saw a gap in the space where fitness, yoga and fashion meet, so she founded The Well Dressed Workout website. With a strong social media presence, she is considered a key influencer in this space and has partnered with a wide range of publications and brands such as Net-a-Porter, Lane Crawford, MISSBISH, Lifestyle Asia, Harper’s Bazaar Hong Kong, Hashtag Legend & Women’s Health Thailand.
During her time as one of the founding instructors at Hong Kong’s most exclusive spin studios, Morgan cultivated her knowledge, motivation and skills, propelling her on an exciting trajectory that has taken her to Australia, Thailand and Japan to help establish a number of successful spin, yoga and barre studios. With her portfolio of skills and unique style, yoga is what keeps Morgan grounded and open, and always pulls her back to class and teaching. Having been a dedicated student at Pure Yoga since 2011, she is continually inspired by the many teachers that have helped pave the way for her practice.
Morgan’s classes create a space where students feel confident to ask questions, gain strength and knowledge, and become more grounded in their daily routine. She places a heavy emphasis on alignment and transitions in both Hatha and Vinyasa styles. Her classes are strong and intelligently sequenced. She will challenge you to focus inward and tap into something bigger than what you thought was possible before you walked into the space. You will feel unified with the flow of your body, your breath, and the present moment.
